I love baths and, by extension, I love fancy bath products. And my boyfriend, smart guy that he is, figured that out about a month after we started dating. Since then, he has since kept me well-stocked in all sorts of bath salts and soaps and bubble baths and hair stuff. (I haven’t bought a bottle of shampoo or a bar of soap in five years. Yes, I’m spoiled rotten. And yes, I’m totally fine with that.)
So I have tons of bath products, and honestly, what I choose next is basically just the luck of the draw. Whichever soap is on top gets opened, whichever shampoo is closest is what I use.
And last week, I grabbed this bar:
It’s from Tokyo Milk (check out their website– all of their products are gorgeous) and the scent is White Flower. And it is ah-may-zing.
First off, the packaging. Absolutely gorgeous. The flowers and French lady are printed on a thick, embossed paper. Almost almost too beautiful to open.
The scent is light but absolutely intoxicating. The Tokyo Milk website says it is “a delicate balance of Citrus Zest, Rosewood, Mimosa & Mandarin.” Awesomeness.
And the purpose of the soap? You know, beyond the pretty packaging? The lathering/clean-making qualities? Wonderful. Lots of thick suds, leaves my skin moisturized and the scent lingers for hours. Quite lovely.
It’s one of my new absolutely favorite things.
