Today I love the way the time change has made my day longer. I can work for hours and still take the dog for a walk during my break.
Today I love the way the trees across the street have blossomed and shed pale pink petals all over the sidewalk. When I walk under them, I feel like I’m impossibly chic, a glamorous still from an old French movie.
Today I love that everybody in my neighborhood seems to be enjoying the weather, sitting on their porches under lazily spinning fans, leisurely walking snuffling dogs, or huffing and chuffing in exercise gear.
Today, I love stealing a few minutes from my laptop-indenture, lifting my head, looking at the trees and the sky, and taking a deep, spring-scented breath.
